SUBJECT: failure to thrive??
My son is 9 months old and has so much difficulty eating throughout his life. These eating problems have started to affect his growth. He has gone from the 70% percentile for weight down to the 18% percentile. At my son's last doctor's appointment his doctor mentioned that this might be a failure to thrive issue. Has anyone else out there encountered this or have any idea what this might mean for my son? My son has an appointment with his G.I. doctor on the first of March and I want to go prepared with plenty of questions. Just as a note my son has reflux and severe constipation. We recently switched to whole milk with the o.k. from our doctor because he completly stopped drinking formula and he really needs the calories.
Please any help, advice, or similar stories would be very appreciated!
Thanks in advance!!!
