Hi there,
Between 6 to 8 weeks you should be able to hear a heart beat. Have you had an ultra sound yet?
Sound like this doctor of yours has no idea. I recon you should go to another doctor and get a second Opinion.
Dont worry to much unless you are getting real bad pain or spotting big clotts.

Im 7 weeks and 2 days now and I had a heart beat at 6 weeks and 3 days.

You should be fine dont stress.
Let me know what happens.
