I had a D&C on October 26,2003. I had light bleeding afterward, and it would stop and go like yours did. My numbers also took a long time to come down. I finally got my period on December 26,2003, and it was so heavy and came so suddenly I was glad I was in my house, but thought I would have to go to the hospital. I was getting my blood drawn weekly until this point, and my numbers were finally normal after this event.
