I just had a miscarriage on january 18th at a little over 6 weeks, it too was my first pregnancy. My doctor told me if i didnt get my period in 6 weeks to set up an appt. She said most doctors say to wait 3 monthes to try because it is easy to get an infection right after. hope this info helped. best of luck!
