SUBJECT: Fecal matter blockage
My friends son has had problems with BMing. He would not have a bm for days even with enima and diarettics. They started taking him to a specialist. Most just gave them diarettics and sent them home. The last was a nurse pract. who used suppositories sent the boy home (100)mile drive and when they brought him back 2 days later they found the diarettics still intact. She finally got a Dr. and apparently the boy has some control issues. He is somewhere around 4 and is not yet potty trained. The Dr. says it some kind of potty training trauma. I know this kids father and could see how less than perfect would be a problem for him, and his mother lets him get away with everything, tanturms etc...there have been many a times I felt discipline of somekind needed to be used and was not. He is also a snotty brat most of the time, which his mom blames on everything other than being a snotty brat. The child also has social issues. He prefers to be and eat alone if they have company and if they go somewhere he will go to his room when he gets home and his mother says won't come out for almost 3 hours.
I guess the kid was full up with hardened fecies from intestines to throat and started vomiting it.
How on earth dose this happen. Can it be true it is a psychological issue. Theres more about his past especially as a baby . His real mom was very neglectful, and his now mother said when they first got him he would sleep under the coffee table because that is what he was used to.
Wow what a story huh.
Any input or understanding would be apperciated. She is a close friend and my husband is thier Pastor.
