babyloves,
I thought I would give you a little history...I live in a smaller town and have had all 4 of my babies in my smaller hospital. The ob I had with my 4th c-section was a younger women with maybe 10-15 years experience. I decided (before we lost our 5th baby) that I would totally switch ob's and travel to a larger town with a bigger hospital. So, if and hopefully when I get pregnant again, I will have to travel over a hour to get to my new ob. My new ob is more experienced older guy and has 6 children of his own. He just does not seem to worry about me having another c-section. He also did my D/C. Everyone is different and based on my history he has given me the ok to have another c-section. My last ob did no examination or anything but announced to me on my 1st visit with my 4th pregnancy, that I should not be having another c-section. I think that's the main difference, these doctors need to take it on a case-by-case basis not just put a blank statement...only 3 c-sections. I hope for both of us good news and successful c-sections, but first I have to get pregnant. I wanted to also encourage you...the girl I got my new OB's name from has 8 children...her first 4 vaginal, her last 4 c-sections...(also 4 miscarriages thru out) anyways...she is pregnant and going to have a 5 c-section and all is going well. bye for now, I really appreciate your encouragement!
