I am now 28 weeks pregnant with my second child. I have had severe pubic pain sine about 12-14 weeks. I see midwives at a military hospital, and I am constantly asking why it hurts so bad, and they just look at me like I have 3 heads and tell me to stretch, and dont overdo anything.
My 3 year old son has to help me get out of bed in the morning, I dread my arm falling asleep at night because it means i have to move my legs.
I continued to work and exercise despite the pain until about 2 weeks ago, I have noticed that the gradual increase in pain has tapered off, Its not getting any better, but its not getting worse...yet.
My question is this: I had an epidural with my first child, at which time both of my hips were dislocated ( thanks to my over exuberant mother and sister) I had really bad pubic pain for about 2 months after I had my son, I could never understand how women could get up and walk around a week after giving birth.... could my pubic bone have been damaged, and no one ever knew because I didnt feel it hapen due to the epidural? and also how do I beat it into the head of my midwives that I really really think somthing is bent , broken, or dislocated?
