SUBJECT: NAP TIME
We have a 6 month old whose napping schedule is all over the board. Some days she take 1-3 hour naps a couple of times a day and other days she only takes three 40 minute naps. Does anyone else have a child that does this. I have tried to get her naps longer during the day, but I feel that we both get frustrated with that.
For sanity reasons, I have come to the conclusion that she self regulates herself and I shouldn't force her until longer naps. She does sleep through the night and has been since about 6 weeks. On days when she sleeps very little she is still a happy, smiling baby (which just amazes my parents). They think that she should nap more during the day. Any ideas??
