Hi, I'm a mother of 1. and due in march with 2nd. and diagnosed with depression. TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR!!! there are safe drugs out there for depression durring pregnancy and after. ask about Zoloft. thats what i am on. and belive me, IT HELPS!!
to tell u the truth, my depression was getting so bad that my husband said if i didnt do something about it to get out. can u belive that. going through some terrible stuff mentally and he tells me to get out. so i talked to my doctor and she helped me.
if they put u on something they will probibly put u on the lowest dosage first but it can be upped if needed.
i know im not your friend or anything but if u ever need to talk about your depression with someone that is going through it too u can e mail me at carolynn_ross@yahoo.com. i check my email every night.
i hope everything turns out ok for u.
