SUBJECT: Sugar Sweetener - phenylalanine
Hi,
I'm trying to get pregnant and I'd like to find out if it's safe to have Sweet'n Low/Equal in my coffee every morning? I use about 2-3 packets per mug. The reason why I am asking is because one of my friends told me that the sweetener is not good for you when you have it during the 1st 3 months when you first get pregnant. Is that true? I also drink Diet Soda during the day which has the sweetener as well...am I at risk?
