This is one of the most precious and trying times of having a baby. I have two children 3yrs old and 1yr old and they were both as different as night and day. With my son he cried all the time but I stuck with a 4 hr schedule and 5-6oz at 10 weeks. Then at as bedtime bottle which followed a bath and a whole bedtime routine(from the time he could have a bath)every night I would make a 7oz bottle and he would drink it and we would put him down around 10pm and he would sleep till 5am then after a bottle he would go abck to bed and sleep for a couple more hours. I think it is trial and error on how much to feed them when they cry alot. But I think for the sleeping thing is best to during the day keep him where he can hear things and know that it is day and also get a bedtime routine and do it everynight and when you do get up at night leave off the lights and T.V. and he will know that it is nighttime. May sound crazy but everyone of my friends and I have all done it and it works. My son was sleeping through the night at 4 weeks and my daughter was at 5 weeks, yours too will be sleeping through the night and beleive it or not I miss those special nighttime feedings and bonding times. Good luck to you and make sure you cherish every moment they grow way to quick.
