Hey!
I am so sorry to hear that you are going through something very similar to what we went through with my 2nd child. She had severe reflux also but she was not spitting it up it was coming just to her throat and then she would asperate it. We have a breathing macine and all of the testing that can be done for respirtory problems before they found out was causing it all. They figured it out around 4 months. She is now 13 months old and we still battle with it sometimes it is not a problem and then sometimes it is.(I have a question on this board also because her weight and adversion to food and drink continues but there is no rythme or reason to it.) My daughter also has a seizure disorder that we are controlling with medicine but the most furstrating is the weight and eating. One day she is fine and eating like she is suppose to then other days and weeks nothing. We have even been hospitalized because she wouldn't eat or drink anything and got dehydrated. So I hate to hear about your baby. I would talk to my peditrician and see if they can so a upper GI to rule out reflux. Good luck to you,we also had to be on a monitor at night because of where the reflux was coming to they were afraid that she would choke on it so you want to get it checked out asap.
