SUBJECT: Constant Stomach Pains
Hello, I am a fourteen year-old girl and I have been experiencing stomach pains for the last few months. It usually would occur after I got home from school, after I ate dinner, or just whenever evening time came around. My stomach would get very irritable. Just this last week or so, the pains have gotten A LOT worse. Everytime I eat something, my stomach gets VERY bloated and I can barely stand it. Stomach pain relievers don't work well either. It's hurt enough for me to visit the nurses office quite a few times this week, miss my school dance, miss a Valentines party I have been looking forward to for WEEKS very badly, and it even has effected my running schedule ( I run around 3 miles a day non-stop but lately I've been having to take breaks and hold my stomach and sit down ) These last few days I have forced myself to go to sleep for hours at a time so I won't have to go through the day so I won't have to DEAL with it, and even sometimes I start crying. My parents refuse to seek any kind of medical help and think I'm just over-reacting. My dad will even tell me that I am a "fricken psychotic". If I feel like I need to throw up (obvioulsly sometimes it will get that bad ) they won't let me and threaten to take me to a therapist thinking I'm bulemic!! ..What should I do??!!
