| what an interesting discussion, you are right...everyone says they are scared for you to have more than 4 c-sections, but if you ask your doctor specifically for examples, it seems they can only provide speculation. I can guarantee there will probably be just as many things that can go wrong with a vaginal delivery. My first ob said she would not recommend having more than 3 c-sections for anyone, but then I came back to her that I didn't want to know about statistics but specifically for me. I had no real complications with any of my 4 c-sections..., that's not to say some women do have thin uterus walls, if that's the case and you know ahead of time, I think that's a different story. I have switched to a new ob and he says there is no problem with us having a 5th. As i said in other messages I really think the medical world does not have a lot to go on because a majority of women are having only 2-3 babies. And I am past everyone thinking I am silly about wanting another one, its hard when you yearn for another baby I don't care how many children you already have. |
