SUBJECT: 3 yr old that cries over everything.....
Hi,
I hope that someone can help me. I have a very sweet and well behaved 3 yr old son(if that is possible at 3 haha) but here lately he has become a cry baby. He cries if something does not go his way or if it does go his way. We can not figure it out.

I do not mean whining I mean full fledge crying tears and all. We are at our wits ends we have tried everything from ignoring it to time outs everything. Everyone tells us it is a phase and he will grow out of it but it is so hard to deal with. We have had to leave places because he gets into these crying fits and nothing calms him down. Please help me,half of the time we never even know what started the crying.
The other day at a friends birthday party I heard one of his cousins call him a sissy boy because he cries all the time. It broke my heart he never did this till just recently but I have to help him get out of this before it gets anymore out of control. I got a note from his teacher at his preschool this week that wanted to know what was happening to her sweet Tyler because he has started this at school now too,and she was concerned.
I hope someone has some good advice as to what is happening and how to handle it.Thanks!!!
