SUBJECT: having itching, rash and bumbs because of PUPPPS
Hi ,

I am 29 week twin pregnant and having gestational diabetes. this PUPPPS has been started since one week and in the last two days it became worse. My ob suggested benedryl 25mg and benedryl cream. And I used and still using gold bond powder, Sarna lotion, Aveeno, lubriderm.......but nothing worked out. I consulted dermtologist yesterday. He gave me topical sterois cream. I donno somehow the itching was worsen after applying that. So yesterday night I went to emergency room. they gave me benedryl 50mg, pepcid 20mg......i was ok...just ok....but no satisfaction. Because of diabetes, they couldn't give any medication to me:tears...that's waht that doctor said and that's it.

I really donno what to do and miserable with itching. The PUPPPS..I mean the red bumbs are all over my tummy, abdominal, palms, leg soles and spreading to thighs.

I have gone thr' many articles people who had faced this kind of situation and got cured with dandelion root capsules. I asked that dermotologist, then he said it is not clinically proven.

Did anyone used dandelion root stuff during their pregnancy with gestational diabetes?
If so, how long did u use?
where is it available?
And do we need prescription for that?
And any other remedies for the pregnants with gestational diabetes........
Plz give me reply.....
