SUBJECT: My Friend
I'm not one of those people who say um "Well I have this friend", and then really have this friend be me. This is a real girl not me. She has been telling me for a while that her parents have been saying they are going to get a Divorce. She has also told me how meanly her mother has been treating her. Also yelling at her saying it is your fault we are getting a divorce. Some how her mother found out she had a boy friend. This girl is 13. Her mother beat her and said she would never stop. This girl came to school with long sleeves and long pants and a ton of makeup. I asked her what was wrong and she said," My mom beat me from the time I got home to when my dad came back which was around 5 or 6 pm. We get out of school at 2:30pm. She said I have huge welts all over my face. She doesn't want to tell anyone because she doesn't want to end up with a sycatist or councilling. I really don't know how to help her.
