Andrenee, I am not a doctor, but I would wait a few more weeks and then go see a gynocologist if you still do not have a period. Did you call the customer service # on the box...or what about trying a different brand of test to confirm your results.

With regards to the lines, we didn't find out exactly what the thin and thick lines were, but we found out that we are definitely pregnant! So I guess thin and thick confirms pregnancy?

We had our first meeting with the gynocologist on Monday. They also did a urine pregnancy test and it came back positive!

Then, they did the ultrasound and we found the amniotic sac with something inside. Yep, a baby with it's own little heartbeat! Wow, that was so exciting to see!

As of Monday, my wife was approx 7.5 weeks along, so by now, she's 8 weeks along. Our EDD is September 23rd! Yay!

The nice thing that the doctor said was that as we are now at approx 8 weeks and there is a heartbeat, the chance of miscarriage is only 10% - quite low. We go back on March 8 for another ultrasound and we're told that things will look quite different at that time :-) Looking forward to seeing our baby grow. Now, he/she has progressed from being an Embryo, to a fetus!

And, this morning, my wife was already showing quite a bit...she and I are both really happy.

Cheers,
Simon
