 | My name is Natalie Beebe I opened the Jungle club because when I began seeking daycare for my own daughter I was disappointed at the lack of learning and life experiences that are withheld from toddler’s curriculums in centers and most home based care facilities. I want my child to have the very best start on life that any one can provide. Brain research shows that more than 90% of the brain develops during the first 3 years of life-thus creating a permanent out line of what our children will become. I created the Jungle club for my daughter, she is a toddler (19mos) that likes to “expect” as many toddlers do. So the daily schedules are repetitive. For example 8:00a.m example ‘We are having snack now, so, when we are done with snack we go out side’ or ‘We are eating lunch, so, when we are done we take a nap.’ being able to predict the next activity builds a sense of security and self-esteem that is crucial for children at this age The low child to care giver ratio at the Jungle club provides personal care for children, while balancing routine daily schedules with weekly field trips, creating an environment that feeds children’s needs for challenging experiences that provide them with opportunities to explore budding social and cognitive skills in addition to self-esteem and imagination, as well as, provide an encouraging yet structured environment that allow children to feel secure to try new skills that they have not yet formally discovered.
I strive to create a total experience for my toddlers. Sessions are designed to work with each other, reinforcing the skills and ideas presented to ensure comprehension. Field trips will be taken at least once a week (at no extra cost) to reward and help exhibit the skills in the world. I find children at this age are filled with such open curiosity and ability for learning that sometimes it becomes difficult for them to focus. The Jungle Club’s learning program depends on a complete day of learning to teach, demonstrate, reinforce, and comprehend the ideas being presented. Therefore I can not accept children who need to participate for only part of the day (curriculum day starts at 8:00a.m. and continues till 4:30p.m. the earliest pick up time is 2:30p.m.). This disruption not only ends the single child’s experience but also causes a break in the flow of the day for the other children. However there is a partial attendance option available instead of partial day. We offer a partial week - three set days chosen by the parent. These three days are selected at the time of enrollment and may not be changed during the child’s enrollment. In order to change days three weeks written notice is required. Also, due to occupancy partial attendance days may or may not be available. Full Week $200.00 Three Days $140.0
