I am not sure too much about the shot, but I am now going through an ectopic pregnancy(or at least that is what the doctor thinks) It hasn't been confirmed yet, but I have had symptoms of it and experienced bleeding and lower back pain. I had passed blood and thought I was having a miscarriage, until I went in to have my HCG hormone level checked. I had an internal ultrasound and he saw blood near one of my ovaries and nothing in my uterus, which indicates ectopic. What is your story and how did it end up? Are you going to try again?

I hope all is well for you.
