Hi Bens mommy,

My situation is very similar to yours. I'm 28 years old and have an 8 year old girl already and have just got married in January 2003. I too wanted to have a child with my new husband and was finding it really hard. I was on the Depo shot for 6 years and was told that it would take at least 6 to 12 months for it to be totally out my system. I was getting so stress out every time I got my period again. I would say to myself, What�s wrong with me? Why can�t I fall pregnant?
Finally after 1 year I fell pregnant. The thing is that I didn�t know I was. I still went to the gym and did 2 classes a day. My periods were a little late so i got excited. Then they came the next day so I got depressed again. Then they were all over the place. Spotting one day, nothing the next. Then started getting really bad pain in my stomach. Cut a long story short, I found out I was 8 weeks pregnant and it was an ectopic pregnancy (egg growing in my left tube) had to have an operation and had the hole left tube removed though my belly bottom.

but....... Then 2 months later I was pregnant again. I did have some spotting but that went away. So I hope that it will happen to you too.
Folic acid is good to take too. I started taking that in December. I don�t know it that was what really helped or not.
People will always tell you to not stress but I know what your going though. Just try and find a hobby to do together to relax your body. Have a spa together. My husband and I have stated ballroom dancing and find it really fun. My daughter would just sit there and watch.

I do this thing with number plates (sounds childish I know but its just a bit of fun)
When you see a triple number plate like 333 or
888, you make a wish and cross your fingers. The person sitting next to you has to uncross them as you make the wish.
I used to will that I was pregnant but then I had the ectopic pregnancy now I wish for a healthy baby and hopefully it will come true.
