SUBJECT: Switching from formula to milk at nine months
My son is nine months old and weighs 23lbs, he no longer wants to eat baby food and so I am preparing his food home made. He does drink quit a large amount of formula daily and troughout the night. I am considering changing his formula to a more inexpensive brand of powdered milk that is sold here in PR (I do not know if its sold in the states) called KLIM (Predia), well its specialy formated for babies of the age of 1, but due to the cost of his enfamil formula and the amount that he drinks, I am tempted to try it. As for the vitamins and Iron in his formula I do give my son a daily amount of vitamins and Iron and will continue with this change so this doesn't worry me. I do know a few mothers that have done so even at a lesser age than my son. Has anyone tried to change there formula before a year old?
