What you are thinking off is an implantation bleed. This can happen at different times usually around 5 weeks from date of sex. I heard one lady say she had it at 8weeks. So I am not sure. This should also be just spotting.

But if you have this at 5 to 8 weeks a test should come up positive.

Well good luck, but I feel that this is your period.
