SUBJECT: high schol and pregnancy
Hey I was just wondering if someone could give me some help. I am 18 years old and in my senior year of high school. I have not had my period in about 21 weeks. I have bled very lightly several times, but I know it is not my period because I have a heavy one that usually lasts for around 12 days. I thought that I could be prenant because my fiancee and I have had unprotected sex for some time now and and had quit taking my b/c. I took a home pregnancy test and it said positive.
One night I was having bad cramps as I do with my period and I went to the hospital...but the test they ran there was negative. I was told that it could be because of the amount of water I had drank that day.
I recently went to my regular doctor for my yearly check up and she said that there were very low levels but they were unable to tell because of the fluids I had drank. I don't know whether I am pregnant or not but I have many symptoms.
I am very active including cheerleading, so while I have continued to lose inches everywhere else, my abdomen keeps growing. None of the women in my family have ever been large with their babies. I have had food cravings/aversions. An itchy stomache, my breasts have even begun to get larger. I have even felt things in my stomache that I have not felt before.
I don't know if there is even a good chance that I am pregnant, but I would like your advice because I do now want to continue my strenuous level of exercise if it may hurt my baby.
