I had 2 sections. #1 for a breeched daughter. #2 I was induced 2 weeks late, had 18 hours of labor and only reached 9cm dilated so we did a section with her as well. I was recently pregnant but miscarried. My OB fully respected my choice to try a vaginal birth but said he would only let labor progress for a short time if it wasn't progressing quickly. The baby's safe delivery was the most important thing, not the way I delivered!! I too have always felt like "less of a woman" but I understand the reasons why doctors do what they do. Its all for our safety. I respct your decision to try a vbac. But don't be disappointed if it ends up a section. You are EVERY MUCH a woman as anyone else for carrying 2 healthy babies to term and another little one on the way!!! Best of luck to you in whatever you decide and conrats on your pregnancy.
