I think you are being steered by the extremes on both ends. Our daughter adores her sitter as well and I am fine with it. A day time sitter is more like a pal than a mother. They play all day and the sitter has no other responsibilities. That is tough competition..that is if you were in one and you are not. You serve very different roles. Remember that and you will be fine. I think showing a strong role model whether in the home or working is the most important thing. The crying at work has got to go.
