SUBJECT: TANTRUMS.. HOW TO DEAL
I WAS AT MY LOCAL SHOPPING MALL A FEW DAYS AGO WITH MY 18 MONTH OLD. AS I WAS WALKING OUT I NOTICED A YOUNG WOMAN WITH A THREE YEAR OLD THROWING A SERIOUS TANTRUM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MALL. AS I WALKED BY I CAN REMEMBER THINKING, "I'M GLAD THAT IS NOT MINE TODAY". BUT AS THAT THOUGHT PASSED I SAW AN ELDERLY COUPLE GO UP TO THIS WOMAN AN REMARK" LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE IS HAVING A BAD DAY, MAYBE HE IS HUNGRY OR TOO MUCH SHOPPING.." THIS GETS ME TO MY POINT ... WHY DO PEPOLE FEEL IT IS NECESSARY TO COMMENT ON THE CHILD'S TANTRUM. WE ARE ALREADY IN A MOOD, I DO NOT NEED SOME NOISY PERSON COMING UP TO ME ASKING IF I'VE PINCHED MY SON OR WHEN HE ATE LAST. IF WE COULD GO RUN ERRANDS LATER WE WOULD HOWEVER TANTRUMS ARE NOT A PLANNED THING.
