Hello! My d is 10 m.o. and has attempted a few steps w/no support. She cruises pretty quick around furniture though. I put shoes on my d when we leave the house, mainly to keep her feet warm but I think I read somewhere that they should be left barefoot when learning to walk. I don't really understand why because my daughter stands on her tippy toes alot when barefoot. I guess it's something to do with the feeling in their feet when they are barefoot? You are also supposed to check the shoes regularly to ensure they aren't to tight so it's probably cheaper to leave her barefoot for now anyway:) It's so funny because my d has recently learned to pull her socks off so she can see her toes wiggle:)
