Hi, With my first we had sex on 14th day right on Ovulation got pregnant (it was a girl).BUT with my current pregnancy we had sex on the 10th and 19th day and I still ovulated on the 14th day. (it is a girl) the doctor said we had under 10% change of being pregnant and we were. So you can get pregnant not close to ovulation. Ihope that helps. Cheers Nicole
