SUBJECT: When to cut 3:30am feeding?
I have a 5 month old son that is just recently been sleeping somewhat more consistantly at night. He is in bed by 7:30pm and now wakes at 3:00-3:30am and usually will not settle down unless he is nursed. After the feeding he settles right back down until 6:30 which is our wake time due to work. Should I try to cut out this feeding? 8 hours is a long stretch, so should he be hungry or is it just habit? I just want to do the right thing & not feel like I am starving my baby! HELP! Also, can someone give me some Weissbluth advise. We have been doing babywise during the days and he stays on a feed/ wake/ sleep cylce and it looks like it will be hard to change but I feel like the Weissbluth plan will give us longer naps and more predictable times. Thanks!
