AUTHOR: Keller_Mommy | | | I am 32 and have been dealing with migraines since I was 9. I have been on medication to prevent them at times, and have been on percadan, darvaset, and several others. With all that I have tried, I find that taking 2-3 Advil immediately when I feel one coming on usually will take it away. Tylenol or Excedrin Migraine do not work for me at all, but the Extra Strength Advil does if I catch it right away. When I was taking stronger narcotics, I would wait to see how bad the migraine was before I took something, and that is always bad news for me. I have to take something immediately or I am going to suffer, sometimes for days. My OB was fine with me taking Advil while I was pregnant. Hope this helps. | |  | |
