I am 32 with a 12 year old and a 4 month old. I guess I always knew I wanted children. I married right out of high school. I had 3 miscarriages before getting pregnant with my first son. His father and I split when he was 1 and I became a single mom for 8 years. I was one of the lucky ones that earned a good income and had no financial worries. I swore I would never have another. I loved him dearly and was always glad to have him, I just did not think I would ever trust a man enough to have another and had no desire to do it again alone. I then fell madly in love and re-married. We got pregnant shortly after. Our son was stillborn at full term. Saying goodbye and making funeral arrangements for him is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I got pregnant again 6 months later and gave birth to a beautiful daughter (now 4 months). I am so lucky! I look at her and can't imagine not having her. I was very career oriented, and loved my job and took great pride in earning a six figure income. I have stayed at home the past 2 years (due to 2 very complicated pregnancies). I thought I would go back to work after 6 months, but now we think maybe when she is 5 years. With all of my lifes accomplishments, my children are by far my greatest achievment. I love and cherish them and can not imagine life without them. I think most of us would do it all over again!!! Best of luck to you.
