SUBJECT: is my 3.5 month old sleeping too much
I have been reading a lot about babies not taking naps, well, my ds seems to be sleeping a lot! He goes down at 9 pm up at 6:30am waking once or twice thru the night. He then has a morning nap at about 8 or so lasting 2 hours, then up to play and eat and down again about 12:30ish for a 3 hour nap, almost 4 hours sometimes. Then he takes a 1.5 hour nap around the dinner hour 6ish. It seems like he can't stay awake longer than 1.5 hours. Is this normal??? I know I am blessed for a baby to sleep so well, but at the same time I worry that he is sleeping too much. When he is up he gets my complete attention and is active. I would appreciate any help! I do worry!!!
