wow...I remember how excited I was when I found out we were pregnant with our 4th. My 4th c-section went very well. I did get sick during the c-section but it wasn't too bad. It's kinda of comforting with your 4th c-section because you know what to expect and you know you can get thru it. I can't say I had a harder time with my 4th, infact I was in the hospital for only 2 days. Do you breast feed? It seems like breast-feeding helped my recover time with all of the others because your uterus goes back down a lot faster, just an idea...Just to encourage you, I have 3 boys and my 4th baby was a girl and she has been such a joy to us. I am so glad that we had a fourth. If I can I would really like to have a 5th...I went to my post-D/C appointment yesterday and my new doctor who is very experienced gave us the ok to try again. You will get a lot of advice from everyone but its ultimately up to you. I guess I kind of look at the c-section itsself as just a small part of something wonderful you get to experience...and it makes me so mad when people who are totally clueless about c-sections act like you miss the whole baby experience by not having it naturally...anyways didn't mean to write a novel, keep me posted on your baby!!! |
