PLZ HELP....can i get pregnant the month after i quit birth control????

hi,
well i quit birth control last month and have had unprotected sex a few times this month around the time i was ovulating,the day i started my last period was on jan 8th so i should have been ovulating around the 22nd i had sex on the 17th and on the 24th is there a chance i could be??? i've been having really bad cramping on and off for the past week like i'm gonna start my period but it's too soon to be feeling those pains already can i be having syptoms already if i'am????

any infromation would be helpful thanx!!!!
