SUBJECT: Heart skipping beats.
Hello,
I am 27 weeks pregnant and I have been experiencing my heart skipping beats. It's like when it does this, it takes my breath. This happened once in a blue moon before I became pregnant, but since I have noticed this happening more frequntly. Sometimes it doesn't bother me and then other times it happens several times in a row and this really starts to worry me. I have talked to my OB-GYN about this problem and he says that this happens sometimes when you are sick or when you take certain medicines, such as Sudafed, etc. He says that there is nothing to be really concerned about unless it continues for a long period of time or becomes more frequent. The OB says that there is not much to do about this but to wear a heart monitor. Does anyone else out there have this problem? If so, what are you doing or what did this result in? Has your doctor/s given you any other advice or information about this problem before, during, and after pregnancy? Should I worry? Please, if you have any info or advice on this matter, write back! Thanks!!!
