Hello Elissa, my name is Luresia. I was just reading your message and just had to write. I to suffer from migraines and before becoming pregnant was taking Imitrex 100mg. At my first visit with my OB, she immediately took me off of the Imitrex and give me an RX for Darvacet. She told me that although they do not like mothers-to-be on narcotics that this was alot safer than the Imitrex. I tried this and this did not seem to do the trick at all, so I was then switched to Tylenol w/codiene. I always try regular Tylenol to begin with, but usually this does not help and I end up taking the RX Tylenol. I have also found that the Migraine Ice patches help to soothe the pain a little, along with getting in a dark quiet place and lying down to rest or take a nap. My family doctor also advised me to stay away from caffeine as much as possible. I know how you feel having migraines. Some of them can be almost unbearable. I Hope that what I have shared with you will be of some help.
