SUBJECT: FOREIGN OBJECTS IN FORMULA; LEARN TO FILTER IT
I am the mother of a two months old little girl, and last week we ended up taking the baby to the emergency room for ingesting what we believe were tiny/hard to detect pieces of glass. Isomil Advance Soy Formula Ready to feed was/is the formula in question, with similar inquiries on the powder version. Even though the company has responded and somehow appears to be worried about the product, and samples were taken to Ross' lab for research, the fact remains that my child was diagnosed with "what it appeared to be foreign particles in the lower intestine." The baby, we have been told, is and will be fine, however the question remains on how and when could the "particles" hand up in the formula mixture. This could be definately a one case incidence only, as I have been told, however for now on, FILTER, FILTER, FILTER before feeding formula to your baby!
