I'm probably not much help but...

I'm 6 1/2 weeks too and had been cramping as well. It felt like I had a cyst and it was busting. I honestly don't know if it did burst but the cramping went away after about a week. I went to the doctor yesterday for my first visit and she said that cramping is pretty normal and not to worry (unless I started bleeding). She said the cyst (if there was one) won't cause any problems with the pregnancy either.

Remember your body is going through some crazy changes so there will be some strange aches and pains. Just listen to your body and don't be afraid to call you doctor about any concerns no matter what time it is--they get paid big bucks to take care of you!

Take care of yourself.
