Implantation Bleeding

Does anyone have any information on Implantation Bleeding? I honestly had never heard of it before, until I started doing some research about it this week. I am having spotting (lite pink/brown discharge) and my period is due next week. I had unprotected sex (however, am currently on ortho-try-cyclen and have been for 2-3 years) 2-3 weeks ago, and I am wondering if I may be pregnant or if this could be a sign of something else. I know Birth Control pills can cause spotting but usually that is when you first start taking them. I have symptoms of spotting, and lots of bloating and gas. I have taken some pregnancy tests, but I believe it is too soon to tell, (it is about 4-5 days before my next period). Any advice?!?!?
