SUBJECT: Drug use in early pregnancy
I've been using crystal meth on a fairly continuous basis for the last 8 months. I stopped for a month, and started back 5 months ago. My use varied from only on weekends to daily. I haven't used since testing positive on two home kits a few days ago.
I've never been pregnant before and, since I assume I've done too much damage to have a healthy baby, I've scheduled an appointment to terminate next week.
Am I correct in my belief that I can't possibly have a healthy pregnancy because of my past drug use? I'm at 5 weeks and I've never been a supporter of abortion but I don't have the means to support a severly disabled child by myself.
Is there any chance the baby could be ok?
