I would try stressing the postives... You must have a happy marriage as you have been married a long time. You have 5 healthy children and you are all likely in a routine now that all kids are in school and you are back to work. A baby would change your lives a lot. All of your lives. What do your older children think about having another one?? Can you stress to your husband that you are very happy with your life and that a newborn would really change everything.
I have a 12 year old and a 4 month old. It gets frustrating for my oldest sometimes when we can't do something because the baby is napping etc.. Good luck to you.
