SUBJECT: Could I be pregnant?
This is a complicated situation. My last m/c began on 12/23/03. I started my new b.c. pills one day late and for the next 9 days I ended up taking the pill sometimes twice a day (once in the am, and again in the pm). I was taking antibiotics twice a day for tonselitis also. I knew that the antibiotics would lessen the effectiveness of the b.c. pills so on day 9 I quit taking the pill. I figured I would start my period as usual (on 1/19 or 1/20). I haven't. I'm now 7 to 8 days late. I have been experiencing cramping (in lower back and in the lower pelvic area)...kinda like when I'm going to get my period. I'm also experiencing discharge (heavier than when I ovulate). The discharge started up a few days ago. The first time I noticed it...sorry, don't want to gross anyone out...it was thick and yellowish/white. I have had this everday now for about 3 days, for the most part not nearly as heavy but enough for it to be noticable. I took a hpt on Thursday last week... I would have been only 1 or 2 days late at that point. It was negative. Could what I'm experiencing mean I'm pregnant even with the negative test result? If anyone out there has any advice/comment, I'd love to hear from you! Take care all!
