 | I am on bedrest because my doctor could feel my babys head. He is touching my cervix, and is already in the face down postion. I am still closed and long, but they are hoping i can't go 8 more weeks. Did your dr mention anything about bedrest or steriod shots. But to answer your question, no it doesn't mean you are dilating. but i would ask about bedrest. Sounds like the baby is low. I am 6 months, and hoping to gop a little while longer, but they informed me that if any changed occur in my cervix that steriod shots and staying in hospital was going to be next. They also did an u/s to see how close the baby was and well he is completly touching it, and in birth postion. I have to go to the dr every week now until birth. So good luck ,and talk to your dr about preterm labor, if you are under 37 weeks.
