SUBJECT: on bedrest until delivery
Well i am 24 weeks now and on bedrest. I have been on it for about 2 weeks now. I am going through preterm labor. The baby is completely touching my cervix and is already in the face down postion (delivery postion). I also have urine behind my kidneys, and protein in my urine. I am on pain meds for all of the back pain, pressure, and discomfront. I have to go every week to the doctor until delivery. And some time i am going twice a week. My cervix is still closed right now, but they say, if it changes any, they are going to put me in the hosptial on bedrest and start giving me the steriod shots. They are trying to get me atleast to 8 more weeks. And not to sure i will get that far. I hope so this little needs to stay there for a while longer. I will also have to be life flyed to Duke or UNC hospitals. They prefer me to have the baby where a level 3 NICU is. Which i prefer to give birth there so i can atleast be where my baby is. My nervous are going to peices on bedrest though. I just can't get still. Any other time i could lay in the bed all day. Now the nervous are getting the best of me. I do have help with my 2 1/2 year old. My MIL comes and gets her every morning. My baby shower is also soon. So we can go ahead and have it before the baby comes. I feel like i have so much to do in so little time. But anyway, i hope everyone is doing great. This darn site comes and goes. But i have lots of other site, i go on for support too with some great members. Thanks for listen to me ramble on, let me know how yall are doing.

Stephanie
