Five year old has Tics, Is she the only one?

I have a five year old daughter who has a complex Tic disorder. She tics everytime she is bored or right before sleep. She moves her hands, feet and her face. She is now starting to make grunting noises. I took her to a neurologist and he said as long as it does not interfere with her day to day activites, its of no concern. He said she will proably grow out of it. That was a year ago and the tic is much annimated and frequent. It still hasn't interfered with her school or friends, whom are not aware she has it becuase she hides it. Are we the only one who has this problem. Any suggestions on distracting her with out having to entertain her 24/7
