SUBJECT: Anyone planning to go back to work?
Is anyone planning to go back to work after they have their baby and how soon? We are in the planning stages right now. We both have always wanted me to stay home when we have children but now it doesn't look like it will work out that way. We could continue to wait to have children but at my age (35) that really isn't an option anymore. I have a good job but no maternity benefits. The missed money wouldn't be that much of a problem but I don't know how my boss will handle me being off work for so long. We have no policy for maternity and no one to fill in for me job unless she hired someone new. I just don't know what to do, I never thought that I would be working when I had children but it looks like it has turned out that way.
