I have heard myself that this is very common and quite often the mother will not even know she is having twins.
I have recently had a miscarriage, i was only pregnant with one.
You should now concentrate on your remaining baby and be strong for him/her. Because this baby will be you little angel, and be more of a miracle because it is still here.
I know you have lost a baby and it is hard, but you still have that little baby growing in you that you will have to hold in your arms soon, be sad for the child you have lost but be so overjoyed for the child you still have who will bring so much happiness to your life.
All the best, keep us posted.
