SUBJECT: Twin feeding schedules - help!
OK, I raised a now-healthy five year old, but I can't remember how I did it.

I have twin 6 month old boys. They have been on a great schedule, eating 4 times per day. Three of their "meals" are formula bottles and stage 2 foods. The other is just a bottle.

Their sleep habits are changing - going from 3 naps to two. They aren't awake often enough to get all of their food in their tummies!

Our old day was:
5:30 am - 8 oz bottle, rice cereal, fruit (a little of both)
8:00 am - nap (1.5 - 2 hours)
10:00 am - 8 oz bottle
11:30 am - nap (1 - 2 hours)
2:00 pm - 8 oz bottle and 1 to 1.5 stage 2 food
3:30 pm - nap (45 minutes)
5:00 pm - 8 oz bottle and 1 to 1.5 stage 2 food
7:00 pm - bed

Our new day is a mess:
5:30 am - up with the same meal
8:00 am - nap (2 - 3 hours) (not complaining!)
11:00 am - bottle with stage 2 foods
1:00 pm - nap (2 hours-ish)
3:00 pm - bottle
5:00 pm - bottle plus stage 2s, but they aren't terribly hungry because they just ate 2 hours ago
6:30 pm - tired, cranky, and possibly overfed.

All this to say, "WHERE IN THE WORLD DO THEY PUBLISH WHAT NORMAL BABIES DO IN A DAY????" I have Weissbluth (love him) and "what to expect..." but I can't seem to find the right information.

Sorry to rant. Just want to do it right for the boys. (And yes, having two of them doubles the stress at transition time!)

Thanks again,
Denise
