SUBJECT: 9 month old eating/sleeping after ear infection
2 weeks ago my terrific sleeper, eater 9 month old daughter got a cold- wouldn't sleep so we took her to the doctor and it's a ear infection. Held her so she'd sleep some and now won't sleep on her own (still has congestion) AND her eating habits changed drastically. WAS 24 ounces/day plus cereal and fruit in am, 2 -1/2 jars at lunch and dinner with a nighttime bottle. Now- lucky for 15 ounces. Called the doctor- "she needs 24 ounces". Well, if she won't take it what do I do? I'm so worried that she's not eating enough (takes solids reluctantly) and completely dropped nighttime bottle. Please, any advice will help- husband, mother says "she's fine" This is my first time starting a discussion I've been reading all other posts for a few days now. Thank you.
